Bike MS: Flint Hills Ride will take you farther than you’ve gone before on low traffic roads through small friendly Kansas towns. Starting at St. James Catholic Church, cyclists pedal through a 1-day adventure in the scenic Kansas Flint Hills riding 18, 40.7, 65.7, 82.4, or 97.9 miles. You’ll have an unforgettable experience, cycling through hills and grasslands sending you back to another time in history. The longer routes have lunch mid-way and for the end of the ride celebration - beer, burgers and dogs for everyone.
To make your ride a safe and memorable one, the routes feature well-stocked rest stops every 8-12 miles and are monitored by a route support team consisting of HAM radio operators, support vans, motorcycle patrol, law enforcement, EMTs and mechanics from our partner bike shops.
In addition, you will experience an incredible level of camaraderie as you embark on a journey filled with laughter, excitement, support and a profound sense of accomplishment. Your participation drives us closer to a world free of MS by funding critical research services that change the lives of people affected by MS.
New for 2017: A 72.3 gravel route option has been added! Ride the back roads of the Southern Flint Hills, pedaling by seldom seen scenery. You can count on this ride being just as supported as the road ride. If you ride gravel, don’t miss this first ever Bike MS gravel ride! Watch a video of the gravel route.
