Bike MS: Ozarks Ride passes through the Missouri's prairie into the scenic Ozark countryside. The routes include fully-stocked rest stops every 10-15 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided by volunteer EMT’s, HAM radio operators, the police department and bicycle repair from our partner bike shops. We will conclude the day at East Middle School in Joplin, MO, where you will be treated to a fun festival featuring massages, musical entertainment and food. Everyone is up early on Sunday for a free breakfast by Chris Cakes and on the road where the route takes you back to Clever, MO for a finish line celebration and a great feeling of accomplishment. NOTE: All rates are subject to tax. The Joplin Sports Authority has documented the above rate information specifically for this event. The Joplin Sports Authority has only listed those hotels that chose to participate in this particular documentation based on the individual hotel’s availability during the event date/dates and willingness to provide discounted rate information to participants. These rates will only be honored based on each individual hotel’s cut-off date requirement for event reservations. At that time, hotel reserves the right to change rates based on availability of rooms. Please make reservations in a timely manner to ensure availability and event room rate.
Shuttles: Purchase a $5 ticket and receive shuttle service to your hotel on Saturday and back to the start line on Sunday. Bicycles are not transported. If you plan on using the shuttle service, you MUST book your room at one of the designated hotels.
One Day Bus: For $10, you may ride the one day bus back to Clever High School from East Middle School in Joplin, MO. The bus leaves at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Should you need a one day bus ticket, you may purchase it during rider check-in/packet pick-up. All tickets must be purchased by Sept. 2. All of your belongings must fit into two bags. This includes your camping gear. Try not to pack anything that is breakable and keep your bags as light as possible (for you and the volunteers). You will receive two luggage tags imprinted with your rider number. Please attach these tags securely to your luggage. Limit two tags/bags per cyclist, including bed-roll or tent. Weight limit per bag is 50 lbs.
Enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere of live music, great food and more. Invite your friends and family to join the celebration. Gather your team and stake out a tent at the Village. Not on a team? Join us at the Broken Spoke tent to put your feet up and take it easy.
Show your support and purchase a Bike MS mile on the route! Your sign will be displayed along the route of Bike MS where hundreds of cyclists will ride.
