Bike MS: Wichita Ride explores the amber fields and rolling grasslands of the Midwest. The routes include fully-stocked rest stops every 10-15 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided by volunteer EMT’s, HAM radio operators, the police department and bicycle repair from our partner bike shops. We will conclude the day back in Pratt, KS, where you will be treated to a fun festival featuring massages, musical entertainment, food and Boulevard beer. Everyone is up early on Sunday for a free breakfast and on the road where the route winds you into a figure-8 for a finish line celebration and a great feeling of accomplishment.
Free outdoor camping is available in the grassy area south of the school circular drive way. Indoor camping and showers will also be available on site. Local hotels coming soon!
Because you’ll be in one place for the whole ride, there’s no need to check in luggage! You can store your luggage in your vehicle or leave it inside the designated room in the gym during your ride.
Ample parking is available in lots surrounding the Pratt Municipal Building and Liberty Middle School near Jackson Street. Look for parking signs as you arrive. All facilities are within short walking distance.
After a fun day of riding, relax and unwind after the Day One ride with live music, massages, and snow cones at the finish line. Gather your team and enjoy a family-friendly, fun community dinner celebration at the Pratt 4-H Center at 6 p.m. The building is located just a mile south of the start/finish line with ample parking outside. Enjoy food, drinks, and a slide show of the day’s ride. Invite your friends and family to join the celebration.
