Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if it rains?

We ride rain or shine. If it rains, grab your poncho - you have trained all summer long and we want you to be able to see this through!

How do I register?

Individuals and teams can register online or over the phone with a credit card.

How much do I have to raise?

All cyclists must have the $200 minimum turned in by check-in to take part in the event. Keep fundraising and qualify for cool stuff by our prize deadline. Remember, the dollar you raise may be the one that finds the cure!

When is the deadline for turning in money?

Each rider must collect a minimum of $200 before the ride begins. Make it easier on yourself by collecting the money when you ask for donations. You can send in donations anytime before the event at the Chapter office, so start collecting TODAY!

What if I'm unable to ride?

All Bike MS registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you do not ride (if your packet is not picked up), the fundraising minimum is not required – but is appreciated.

Can children participate?

Cyclists must be 12 years old or older by the start of the event and minors are required to be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times). No child carriers or Burley-type trailers are allowed. All cyclists under the age of 18 must provide a notarized waiver. Please contact us to request a waiver.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

YES! For your own safety, helmets are required at all Bike MS cycling events and conditioning rides. You will be removed from the route if you are not wearing a helmet.

Can family and friends join me for the weekend?

Family and friends are always welcome at our start and finish locations, however not on the route! Please encourage your friends and family to meet you at the finish line, or to volunteer for the event. Learn more.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are prohibited at the ride, however, service animals are welcome.

How do I make my accommodations for the weekend?

You are responsible for making your own overnight accommodations for the weekend. Please visit each ride's specific page for lodging options.
